Engineering, Data Science, and Everything Else

I am a Data Science Manager with Dow Chemical’s Analytics & AI Hub Team. Previously an R&D Data Scientist for the Polyurethanes business developing the Predictive Intelligence capability.

Before joining Dow, I completed my doctoral degree in chemical engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago with my thesis “Zwitterion Hydration and Ion Association Design Principles Elucidated by Simulation and Machine Learning”. My research examined structure-property relationships of zwitterions using molecular simulations, cheminformatics, and data science techniques.

In my free time, I support science and engineering education by mentoring undergraduate and PhD students. While not studying or working, I enjoy trying new coffee shops, visiting art galleries, and running.
